Here’s what I’ll be attempting to attend at the first day of JAOO Sydney 2009:
00: Opening keynote, ‘Composing all the way’ is an obvious choice to get things started.
15: Linda Rising’s ‘The Power of Retrospectives’ looks pretty interesting.
15 Then it’s going to be a tough choice between ‘How to build an iPhone application in 45 minutes’ and ‘Scaling Scrum with feature teams’
00 Probably a call between ‘Domain Specific Languages and Language Oriented Programming’ and ‘How your choices influence your agility’
00 Most likely will go for ‘Lessons Learned in Programmer Testing’ but am intrigued by any talk entitled ‘Speeding Ducks’
15 Erik Doernenburg is an interesting guy, so I’ll probably be attending his talk on ‘Builds: From Good to Great’
15 Linda Rising is doing quite a few talks today and I’m quite interested in ‘Deception and Estimation: How We Fool Ourselves’
15 Finishing up with the slightly scarily titled ‘Atlassian: An Australian Success Story’. Hoping Baz Luhrmann wasn’t involved…
